Festivities from 9:00am to NOON
The next Kidical Mass Ride for 2015, Saturday,  June 27th. A fun bike ride experience for families with kids of all ages! Education with Fun & Prizes! Dress for the theme and you could win a prize!

15 used children’s bikes (14”-16”) will be given out (for FREE) to participants in need

Join Santa Monica Spoke and the City of Santa Monica for our next Kidical Mass Bike Ride.  We will take a family friendly ride around the  neighborhood, just north of downtown Santa Monica.

* Children must be accompanied and are the responsibility of their parents. Bikes should be in good working condition. Free Safety Checks on site for minor adjustments/repairs. Please use good judgement – ride is on city streets – smaller children should be in a child seat, in a trailer or Tag-a-long……

Santa Monica College, Center for Environmental and Urban Studies, 9am – 1pm, 1744 Pearl Street, In the bike parking corral area, The Santa Monica College Bicycle Club and Bike SMC Campaign will be providing a pit stop for students and other commuters riding out to or around the West Side. They will be giving away free breakfast and lunch items in the bike park. Such as bagels, yogurt, bananas, etc.

Free Safety Checks,  ‘Juice Girl’ fresh pressed juices and gourmet peanut butter + ‘your favorite topping’ sandwiches will be available for bike commuters!

It’s time again for the Golden Pedal Awards, Metro’s annual bicycle story competition! Do you or someone you know have a great story to tell about your bicycle commute? What do you love about bicycling to school or work? Tell them about your victories—whether it be the hills you conquer every morning, bicycling to school with your children, or your clever shortcut that lets you zip past traffic.
No matter your age or ability level, Metro wants to hear about your cycling success story, you define what is a bicycling success story and they are interested in hearing about it.
