The City of Santa Monica is expanding its green lane network by installing 19 miles of new green bicycle lanes at various locations throughout the city.

Grab your bicycles or get and head to City Hall, 1685 Main St., at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019 as we join City Manager Rick Cole for a bike ride on the newly painted lanes. All are welcome.
• Children should be capable of street riding or in a bike seat or trailer.
• No bike? or Want to give Breeze a try? – for this event you can get FREE RIDE TIME on BREEZE! Limited to supplies on hand.

Installation of the green lanes advances the mode shift and Vision Zero components of the City’s Mobility Strategic Goal by further implementing the Bike Action Plan, which was developed with extensive community outreach and support. Santa Monica Spoke is partnering with City of Santa Monica to organize a fun bike ride to highlight some of our newest green lanes.
