We are pretty excited to finally visit this local restaurant bar, sister to one of our favorites Ingo’s Tasty Diner and part of the LGO Hospitality – headquartered her in Santa Monica. The Misfit Restaurant & Bar, reprises a “back to the bar” of casual destination dining serving signature cocktails and accessible comfort food intended to be enjoyed on a daily basis.

Join Santa Monica Spoke, the City of Santa Monica and Santa Monica Community Gardeners for Santa Monica’s Kidical Mass Family Ride and Garden Tour 2017. 
We will take a family friendly ride in Santa Monica to visit Park Drive Community Garden for a special kid friendly event. Prizes and giveaways at Memorial Park when we return!

Schedule.
9::00am – 12:30pm
– Check-in, Morning Snacks (coffee and juice), Bike Safety Checks, Helmet Decorating
– Ride to Pit Stop visit at PARK DRIVE COMMUNITY GARDEN
– KIDS GARDEN TOURS AND SEED BOMB WORKSHOP
– Pitstop host Santa Monica Community Gardeners
– Ride back to Memorial Park by noon for fun activities, Prizes and post ride snacks

* Children must be accompanied and are the responsibility of their parents. Bikes should be in good working condition. Free Safety Checks on site for minor adjustments/repairs. Please use good judgement – ride is on city streets – smaller children should be in a child seat, in a trailer or Tag-a-long……

CicLAvia – Culver City Meets Venice presented by Metro

CicLAvia heads back to one of their fan-favorite routes for the first event of 2017!

On March 26, Culver City, Mar Vista, and Venice will host another of the country’s largest open streets events! Streets will be closed to cars and open for use as a recreational space for people walking, biking, running, skating and any other people powered mode.

A CicLAvia press event will take place at 8:30am at the intersection of Main St. and Culver Blvd. in Downtown Culver City.

New to CicLAvia? Here are some things you need to know for March 26:

• CicLAvia is FREE!
• CicLAvia lasts from 9 AM until 4 PM
• CicLAvia closes streets to car traffic and opens them for people to walk, skate, bike, play, and explore parts of Los Angeles.
• CicLAvia is not a race! There’s no starting point or finish line – begin where you like and enjoy the day your way.
• CicLAvia traffic flows in two directions, just like regular traffic. Check out some more safety tips.
