EVENT May 30th: Bicyclists’ Rights & Responsibilities – Know the Law

Road safety and equity is everyone’s concern and responsibility:

Join Bicycle Lawyer Jim Pocrass of Pocrass & De Los Reyes LLP, and representatives from the Santa Monica Police Department* to discuss Bicycle Law and knowing how your Rights and Responsibilities can protect you and make our roads safer and more equitable for everyone.
 
Please bring your questions for discussion or click here to send us your questions, concerns or comments in advance and we will collate them for discussion at the event.
 
When:    Wednesday, May 30th

Where:   Performance Bicycles, 1314 Wilshire Blvd

Reception 6:30pm (refreshments will be served)

6:00pm, Santa Monica City Hall*

For the third year in a row, Mayor Ted Winterer and the Santa Monica City Council Officially Proclaim: May as Bike Month in Santa Monica!

* Please check back – as the council agenda is confirmed the time may be updated or change slightly
The UPDATED TIME we currently have is 6:00 for PHOTO and the proclamation.

Community Garden Bike Tour Sat: May 12th!

Join us Saturday for a leisurely bike tour to visit some of our local Community Gardens and ride on MANGo, our Neighborhood Greenway, presented by the Metro Bicycle Education Safety Training (BEST) Program.

TIMELINE:
10:00 am – Meet up.
1:00 pm – Ride end.

START/END: 26th Street/Bergamot Expo Station – meet in the parking lot on the south side of the station – Bergamot. IMPORTANT NOTE: You may not park in the Bergamot lot. Please do not try. See below for car parking.
