We can’t promise going for a bike ride will solve every concern, but we do know that bicycling can help all of us maintain our physical and mental health. Even short rides have massive benefits, including reducing stress and anxiety, and improving happiness, mental focus, and sleep. Whether you are an essential worker biking to get to work, looking for a fun activity with the family, or just need some exercise or some time alone, here’s some are some ideas to help you get started.

Grab your bicycles or get and head to City Hall, 1685 Main St., at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019 as we join City Manager Rick Cole for a bike ride on the newly painted lanes. All are welcome. • Children should be capable of street riding or in a bike seat or trailer. • No bike? or Want to give Breeze a try? – for this event you can get FREE RIDE TIME on BREEZE! Installation of the green lanes advances the mode shift and Vision Zero components of the City’s Mobility Strategic Goal by further implementing the Bike Action Plan, which was developed with extensive community outreach and support.
