On August 18th we celebrated 100yrs of women’s right to vote. The bicycle was an integral part of the suffragette and women’s emancipation movement. The City’s Human Services Division needs your input as they work to reimagine the City’s social service grants and direct services that serve thousands of Santa Monica residents every year. Through a series of meetings, they are seeking community feedback on what measures of success are most meaningful and impactful, as well as what types of services are needed.

We invite you to join us and LA County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC) for a two-wheeled tour of the City’s new green lanes as part of SaMo Pride Month, sponsored by Metro Bicycle Education Safety Training (BEST) Program. In June, Santa Monica is celebrating their 1st SaMo Pride Month and commitment to an inclusive and diverse community. This ride will sample some of the 19 miles of new green lanes.
