Beach Streets opens streets up for walking, bicycling, and socializing by temporarily closing thoroughfares to automobile traffic. Known more generally as Open Streets events, similar events are now occurring across the world.

The 4 mile downtown route will feature the Broadway Corridor, Pine Ave., East Village Arts District and 4th Street Retro Row.
