It is with a heavy heart I share some important news.Â
Our fearless leader for the last 7 years, Jen Klausner is resigning as Executive Director of LACBC. She shared it yesterday with her staff and today she wanted to make sure all of you got the news. Below is her personal letter which says it all!Â
We owe a huge debt to Jen, for her leadership – LACBC is what it is today in a very large part because of Jen, her tireless dedication. leadership and unbridled commitment to LACBC and it’s mission. Though she will be sorely missed she remains committed to LACBC’s mission and will continue to participate in this pivotal time with the organization.Â
LACBC is at an important and new evolutional chapter in it’s growth, we are so grateful Jen will stay on until the end of 2014 to ensure a smooth transition for the new Executive Director – Again we are thankful Jen will also participate on the search committee for her successor who will indeed have some hefty shoes to fill.
I believe you will all join me as we thank Jen for all she has accomplished for the biking movement in Los Angeles and for LACBC in her tenure.  Jen is truly a REAL CLASS ACT! We wish her the very very best as she moves on to “getting some dirt under her wheels” and embarks on this next phase in her life. I certainly look forward to continuing to work with her through this transition and in her new participation with LACBC – what ever that may be.
My very best to you my friend – THANK YOU for all you have done and will surely continue to do!
A new chapter will begin: We send our very best wishes as our fearless leader moves on!: It is with a heavy heart… http://t.co/ndx2T9HccH
All the best to my dear friend! http://t.co/YyhNBc90Fx
