Self-Guided Tour of Santa Monica’s Vintage / Resale Shops just in time for the Holidays! Buy /Bike LOCAL

Reuse is the highest form of recycling.  Get ready for a day of vintage shopping that’s fun, environmentally sustainable and affordable!  The Buy Local SM Committee has created a fun self-guided tour of Santa Monica’s vintage and thrift stores (download below).  You can do the tour by bike, foot, public transit or a combo of the above!

Here’s an idea of what to you may find on your excursion: designer vintage handbags (think Chanel, LV + Coach!), jewelry & accessories (tres chic!), scarves to reuse as gift wrapping, antique silverware & china to dress up the holiday dinner table, beautiful coffee table books, vases that go perfectly with a bouquet of fresh flowers & holiday cd’s & puzzles for everyone to enjoy together!  We’ve also included a few shops that feature gift items made with reused products.
