Improvements for Pedestrian, Bike & Car Circulation: Safe Routes to School

Santa Monica High School: Improvements for Safe Routes to School Safe Routes to School Flyer 10/2013

Wednesday, October 23, 2013 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Civic Center Auditorium, East Wing, 1855 Main Street, Santa Monica

Students, parents and residents – Please join us to review the final concepts for improvements that will make pick-up and drop-off better for Santa Monica High School. The addition of protected bike lanes and improved sidewalks also furthers our City’s goals for safety, sustainability and equity and will help to improve circulation for bikes and pedestrians around the school for all road users. This project also works in collaboration with improvements proposed for the Michigan Avenue Neighborhood Greenway Project.

Come out and see the plans – give your input!  Help finalize the design for school access improvements to eliminate barriers to walking and biking and make circulation around the school safer and better for everyone!

Light snacks will be served. Bike and car parking will be available.
Big Blue Bus Lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9 serve the Civic Center.
RSVP (or just show up!) and Questions: Michelle Glickert or call 310.458.2204
